There have been eight more deaths from H1N1 flu in the past week in B.C., bringing to 42 the total number of deaths from the pandemic.
The B.C. government said in a news release today that there have been 93 new severe cases of H1N1 across B.C. The BC Centre for Disease Control reports that there have been 957 severe cases since April.
Provincial health officer Dr. Perry Kendall will elaborate on the pandemic.
